Scope of Practice

Professional Background & Scope of Services

I am a somatic and attachment-focused practitioner with more than twenty years of professional experience supporting people. I am a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), a practitioner of Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience (DARe), and a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and Group Facilitator (PRYT). My approach is further informed by substantial training in Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF), additional studies in yoga and embodied practices, and ongoing professional development.

My work is also grounded in a strong academic and professional foundation in psychology. I hold an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology, an advanced graduate degree, and previously worked as a school psychologist. This background contributes to the breadth of knowledge and experience I bring to my current practice.

Nature & Scope of Services

My services are intended to support personal growth and development, self-awareness, well-being, and a deeper relationship with oneself. My approach is experiential, somatic, and relational, informed by an understanding of trauma, attachment, and the nervous system.

Although I bring a substantial background in psychology and related disciplines, I am not a licensed psychotherapist or medical provider. My practice does not provide psychotherapy, psychological assessment, or the diagnosis or treatment of medical or mental health conditions.

These services are not intended to replace medical care, psychotherapy, or other treatment provided by appropriately licensed professionals, although they may complement such care when appropriate.

Availability & Emergencies

I do not provide emergency or crisis intervention services and am not available for immediate-response support. If you require urgent or emergency assistance, please seek appropriate local services.
