I draw from my training in several core approaches to create a loving, powerful space for being with the body's wisdom, healing and transformation:
Somatic Experiencing®
Developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine, Somatic Experiencing is a gentle, body-focused approach that helps release stress, tension, and the lingering effects of past experiences. By noticing physical sensations, your nervous system is invited to reset, which often helps restore resiliency, an embodied sense of safety and connection.
Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experiences® (DARe)
Created by Dr. Diane Poole Heller, DARe helps you recognize and heal patterns in your relationships based on your attachment style, offering guided experiences to create healthier ways of connecting with others. It’s particularly effective for shifting repetitive relationship patterns and building secure attachments—both with yourself and in your relationships.
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy®
Developed by Michael Lee, Phoenix Rising is a movement-based approach that blends gentle movement, breath awareness, and guided reflection. It supports being present to your embodied experience so that t what's true for you can become clear and experienced with compassionate support. It fosters your own inner wisdom or knowing, and gently guides you apply this in meaningful ways in your daily life.
Inner Relationship Focusing®
Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF) was developed by Ann Weiser Cornell and Barbara McGavin as a refinement and expansion of Eugene Gendlin’s original Focusing technique. Inner Relationship Focusing is a mindfulness-based approach that invites you to explore parts of yourself with curiosity and compassion. IRF helps you notice parts of yourself and helps you be with challenging inner experiences without judgment, creating space for insight, self-acceptance, understanding and meaningful change. I trained in levels 1-3 in Inner Relationship Focusing with Dr. Maureen Gallagher and also completed a specific training on working with "inner critic" parts of ourselves.
